At Centre Stage, our Stage School classes are all about building confidence, creativity and a love of performing in a fun, friendly and encouraging environment. Students enjoy a lively mix of singing, drama and musical theatre, developing their voices, acting skills and stage presence while making new friends and having lots of fun along the way.
With classes designed especially for each age group, there’s something for everyone:
Wednesdays │ 8 weeks
Tots 3.5–5 years 3:30pm – 4:20pm
Juniors 6–9 years 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Seniors 10–12 years 5:40pm – 6:40pm
Teens 13+ years 6:50pm – 7:50pm
Course Overview
Throughout the year, students have opportunities to take part in performances, concerts, RIAM exams and end-of-term musicals giving them the chance to shine on stage and celebrate everything they’ve learned.Whether your child loves to sing, enjoys acting, dreams of performing or simply needs a little confidence boost. Centre Stage is a place where every student is encouraged to find their voice and enjoy their moment!
Centre Stage Academy
Founded 25 years ago by Maureen Lawlor, Centre Stage Vocal Academy is a supportive, creative hub dedicated to helping performers of all ages discover their unique sound and build lifelong confidence. Offering personalized vocal coaching, instrumental lessons, Stage School training, the Academy provides a safe, nurturing environment for students to grow at their own pace. From earning exam certifications to performing in an exciting annual full-length musical production, students develop their artistic talents and celebrate their individuality both on and off the stage.

After 10+ years of going to singing lessons with Maureen I finished up my time with her with a distinction at Senior Certificate level, 3 High Achiever Awards from the Royal Irish Academy of Music and a great Leaving Cert music result.
