Tuesdays 8pm – 10pm (Evenings) │ 8 Weeks
Course Overview
The objective of the course is to empower participants to develop their individual voice, in an environment where they are safe and supported. The workshops are both improvisational and text based and provide participants with basic acting skills, focusing on using the body, voice, and timing, to convey emotion and create impact. The course is aimed at beginners, and those with some acting experience, and will include individual tuition in a group setting, as well as some group work, with the aim of exploring together and challenging one another to be original in our artistic expression and thought process.
Facilitator
Since graduating from University and Drama school, Steve Doyle has conducted drama workshops for nearly 40 years with groups ranging from fellow actors like Andrew Bennet (The Quiet Girl) and Ned Dennehy (Peaky Blinders), to psychiatrists, former convicts, people with additional needs and students at national and secondary third level schools, including Oxford University.
